As of late yesterday afternoon, EchoStar’s Sling Media was still experiencing service issues that have cut some subs off from their video streams. The problems first cropped up Thursday evening when a “data migration process” apparently misfired. As a result many users have not been able to log into their accounts. According to a spokesman, the issue is affecting some but not all Slingbox users. The company reported “improvements over the weekend and (it) continues to work to restore access to normal levels.”

While this is not a political blog, I decided to throw here some political garbage.

Take the upcoming HST for BC and Ontario.  Combining GST and PST is not a problem. Problem is that HST will be applied across everything that in the past was exempted from Taxes. That will affect a lot and change a lot. Article on MSN will give you some idea on that. Here is the link

I will not discus the changes in here. I just want to mention that, those changes are being implemented by the same people you were voting for in elections. So are we electing wrong people or elections do not work?

What happens to people when they get into offices? Why are they turning on people, that elected them?

Are we really having “democratic” system? Do we really have anything to say?

Governments of the world are very much like a Cancer of the nations or territories they govern. The biggest problem of all is that they grow. And grow. And Grow. AND GROW!! And they like to be fed, so you have to feed them, and as you feed them they GROW, and get more and more hungry so you need to feed them more and more.

That description is 100% accurate for even so called “perfect government” and we are not even talking about corruption, fraud or mismanagement of funds.

Add this to the mix and you end up with real mess. Soon you will have to work for FREE half of the time and get paid only every 2second hour you work as every other hour  will go to you elected people.

OPS… We are already working over 6 months in a year to pay taxes , fees, licences and all other forms of taxation our government is inventing for us and one thing they are good at (you have to give it to them) is just that. Taxing you. What’s unbelievable is that you just take it.

In the medieval , barbarian times people were treated like dirt and their landlords were taking every 10th of everything they had for themselves. No questions asked. Some people were trying to fight it. Many were killed. Times changed and now we don’t have landlords that take your stuff, you don’t have to pay them for the right to work your land. We live in democratic country and you can own your land and you can work it.

Well you may have to pay taxes on the stuff you produced on this land , but…. so what is the property tax??? May be we don’t really own the land??
