Short glitch on Dish Network for FTA receivers software

FTA’s down and up in a no time

I was informed that some FTA receivers experienced short down time on Dish Network service this morning or last night.

Apperently all or most are up and running again. I have seen new files for number of models.

All Viewsats, Sonicview, Coolsat, Captive Works and Vortex receivers have new updates and some models of Visionsat TV, Skyview, Pansat, Neusat, Captine have some updates for selected models.

Rest like Buzz,  Ariza and others are dead in the water disabled well for now.

FTA’s 3rd party softwares in trouble

Free to Air receivers update !

3rd party softwares for FTA receivers are starting to have hard time as Bev is starting to deliver punches and channels are going dark. Dish will probably follow and fixes may not be that fast and easy this time.

This is what I found on another site regarding yesterdays ECM.

“08/29/07–> B3V (sats 91 & 82) has just disabled all PPV and Porn on plastic, atmega and FTA. Expect more channels to drop as time goes by. This is all tied to the new ECM (In addition to the 06 and 46 keys, we now will have 0706 and 0746 as well, that could be used to decrypt the Dynamic Code payload locked inside of the Cmd07. More is still yet to be known). Dishnet is sure to follow suit soon as well. There are NO new fixes and do NOT expect one too quickly.”

So this is the latest news from piracy section, and so far the Dish is still working without a glich, however I wouldn’t be supprised if it goes black before the end of the day.
