Another bad news for c-band satellite system owners.

We just learned from our suppliers that Showtime movie package will no longer be available for renewals for any other term then month by month bases, until June.
Showtime will no longer be available on C-Band 4DTV as of 6-30-10.  Their decision not ours………….

All of the channels and more can be accessed with DirecTV and Dish Network US satellite systems.

Here are the remaining channel on G3 Satellite that are still available to 4DTV customers on C-Band systems
G3-580 MSNBC
G3-581 Fox News
G3-582 Hallmark
G3-583 Lifetime
G3-584 CNBC
G3-585 CNN
G3-586 HLN
G3-600 AMC
G3-622 USA
G3-624 Comedy

These are now the correct channel numbers for the G3 channels that we are still uplinking. The Guide will be corrected a.s.a.p. by Motorola ACC to reflect the channel numbers that were changed. Some customers will need to remap their 4DTV’s if their 4DTV was not shut off last night and did not receive their overnight download. To remap a model 922 4DTV, they need to move to G1-150 or G5-100, make sure they have a green DC light, let it sit on that channel for 30′ and then the above channels should be turned on for them.

We have been notified by Travel Channel that they will be moving from C-Band 4DTV satellite C4-602 to a new location on C Band 4DTV  satellite C3  between March 31 and May 17, 2010. The channel will be dual illuminated on both the old channel number and the new channel number between those dates before being turned off on the old channel C4-602 on May 17,2010. We do not have the new channel number that it will be assigned by Motorola yet, but will advise you when they notify us. If you have any questions about this, please don’t hesitate to ask.
