The “new” W5 (AMC-18) satellite is now able to be mapped into your 4DTV’s. If you have subscriptions to channels that are on X4 Ku Band satellite, you should now be able to watch those channels on W5. Before you can watch them you will need to program W5 into your 4DTV in order to be able to receive them.
W5 is the first satellite West of W1. If your receiver do not show W5 in the Option 6,4,4 list of satellites to be programmed into your 4DTV, then you will need to remap your receiver.
To remap your receiver and if you have a model 922, go to G1-03, or G1-13, make sure the DC light on the fron pannel is lit up, turn off your 4DTV, unplug it for 30 seconds, plug it back in, wait 30 minutes, turn it back on and the W5 should then be mapped in so you can program it in.
i have a 922 gi.i went master reset and i cann’t go back to digital channels.please tell me if i need subscription. i try on g1 channel 3 and nothing thank you
