I just received informations telling me that the HITS channels which are moving to AMC-18 are now mapped on that satellite.
Customers with Motorola 4DTV receiver can receive them there after they program in the satellite and download the guide information.
Remember these channels will now be in C-band on AMC-18 so that will allow many customers who didn’t have a KU feed to receive them. Customers who would like to get these channels will need upgrade from Digital Essentials to Absolute Digital package.
AMC-18 Satellite will be called W5 on your 4DTV receiver. It is located 2 degrees west of W1 at 105 degrees west

For those of you with NO KU - SCIFI and several other KU Stations are now Cband and Available on W5. Word is from NPS is that 3 sats are being combined onto this one sat. There are also 15 or more music stations.

Fox Sport Channels are on Satellite AMC1 at 103W on C-band. They are encrypted by Motorola in Digicipher technology, however they are not available to general public, as they (FOX) didn’t give anyone right for distribution on C-band.
Fox Sport Channels are on Dish Network and DirecTv.
