Last month both TSN HD and Sportsnet HD notified Star Choice of substantial increases in the cost for these channels.Therefore, Star Choice have created a new HD SPORTS bundle, including TSN HD and Sportsnet HD, which is available to customers who subscribe to the standard definition channels for only $1.99/month.
This new bundle is available at no extra cost to customers who subscribe or upgrade to Gold Plus, Platinum Plus,Titanium Plus, Ultimate, or Ultimate Plus English packages. Customers to these packages do not need to take any action. Subscribers to other packages can order HD SPORTS through their website or by contacting Star Choice at 1 888 554-STAR.
RDS HD will continue to be available at no additional cost.
Customers can subscribe early and enjoy the preview to February 1st.
Star Choice is committed to providing Canada’s most comprehensive HD package at no extra cost to their customers. They have plans to launch even more HD channels shortly. Star Choice is trying to do everything possible to provide customers with Canada’s best HD experience.
For example, in the last 15 months, Star Choice have launched 19 new HD channels, with many of these channels going directly into their NO ADDITIONAL COST HD package.
