Looks like hackers have a real fun time trying to keep up with the changes. Dish Network and Bell both are very aggressive in the fight right now.
This is understandable as the Christmas shopping is in it’s high and frustrated FTA end users are giving up hacking and switching to normal subscriptions by signing up for satellite programming with Dish Network in US and Bellexpressvu in Canada or DirecTV or Starchoice.
Will the satellite companies ease down with the ECM”s after Christmas? Time will tell.
Over past weeks Dish Network and Bell turned off PPV, Premium movie and International services on FTA receivers numerous times and in case of Bell all channels went down many times as well. Sometimes it looks like Bell is more aggressive and success full in fighting this ECM war then Dish Network. May be this is just the illusion and Bellexpresvu is just not on top of the list for hackers. Hard to tell.
At this time, since yesterday Bell ( often called Bev ) is all fixed up and running with all channels open and Dish ( often called Cherlie ) is crippled with all PPV, Premium Movie, International channels and some of the national network feeds down.
Interesting thing to notice is that as the new “fix” for bev was being released, the dish got shot down.
So there is chaos all the time. Hacked satellite systems not even for a moment all work on all satellites. Something somewhere is always down and waiting for fix. So, if you have a hacked satellite system don’t even bother to turn it on. It probably doesn’t work and if you just fixed it then it will be down in no time. Just call your satellite or cable company to subscribe or if the TV is not that important to you, just forget about it and go out shopping. Buy some presents for people you care for, spend bunch of money, get the economy of your country going, because by sitting home and watching television doesn’t make the money go around, especially when you watch free TV.
Go out there and spend your money, if you don’t have it, put it on the plastic, get a loan, go broke, do your part.
