TNT, TBS, CNN, CNNHL, Comedy and Weather Channel, are not scheduled to leave analog, at anytime in the near future. NPS pays the tier bit fees for these channels and we will notify everyone, if we get any information they are moving.
HBO West is scheduled to leave analog on 12-13-2007, this channel is already on G1 in 4DTV format.
HBO East is scheduled to leave analog on 01-13-2008, this channel is already on G1 in 4DTV format
Tennis Channel - this channel does not want to pay ACC for tier bits, so we can not authorize the channel, they say our customer base is too small. Possibly IPTV format.
NHL TV - same as Tennis channel
NBA TV - same as Tennis channel
FoxNews is now mapped at G3-581. This is part of our effort to make a seamless transition, when Fox News leaves analog on 11-07-2007. Has been added to our pkgs Absolute Digital, Digital Essential and Digital Exclusive. Some DSR920 receivers may need to do a soft-reset and get a rehit to activate.
WGN - Our supplier is working on re-uplinking this channel on G3 satellite, should be available
very soon.
Fox Business News-this channel is in a format not compatible with 4DTV. This channel would only be available in IPTV format.
Spike, Nick and E! TV will not be back in digital format, these channels would only be available in IPTV format.
TBN - Trinity Broadcasting Network will be ending their analog free feed on 02-06-2008. This channel is moving to the MPEG 2 DVB Free to Air format. Customers will need an MPEG 2 receiver to get this channel. Call Omegasource and we will send you one. 403-287-7344
Golf Channel - Our supplier has been trying to locate a contact at Golf Channel, so we can get a contract with them, but have had no luck in finding one, we will continue to try until we reach someone.
CHILLER - Should be available on X4-641 and added by the first of November.
Will be available in Absolute Digital and KU-Band Value Pkg.
