Star Choice recently announced that it will be launching A&E HD, SRC HD and Discovery HD on October 12th with two more HD channels, The National Geographic Channel HD and Showcase HD, planned for December.
These five new channels will boast Star Choice’s HD line-up to 19 channels. SRC HD will be offered at no additional charge to most customers, making this the largest, no cost, HD package in Canada. The other four channels will be available in a new HD package, HD extra, at the affordable rate of $4.99/mth. This bundle will be available in January 2007. All of the new HD channels will be available as a free preview for 3 months from the launch date.
