All FTA’s disabled again

There is not much to add other then, now all channels are black on all FTA receivers with dishes pointed at Dish Network satellites. There are no card-less fixes for any of them, even the Viewsat. Dish Network managed in this effective move, disable all Free To Air receivers and the only lack of power shows in attempt to disable the Rom102 and Rom103 pirated cards as there is already a fix for them in the form of the new blocker. As to FTA they will remain disabled until the new files will be released by the FTA companies. Who will be first and when will that happen? When I find out, I will let you know.

Dish srikes back

Here we go again. There are reports from all over the “testing community” that Dish Network implemented new ECM (electronic countermeasure) in the fight against piracy of their signal. Just this afternoon PPV and adult channels started to go black and on FTA receivers on screen messages display “bad or scrambled channel”. There are some reports of some international channels going black as well. You can expect that on premium channels within 48 hours and possibly all channels by the end of the week. So the game is on and Dish is scoring. Let’s wait and see how soon and effective hackers will play.
