AMC American Movie Classics & The History Channel West
AMC is a 24 hour, movie based network, devoted to the movie fan at heart. This fantastic new channel offers a comprehensive library of popular movies and a critically acclaimed late of original programming. AMC has been available in the United States for several years now and has quickly become one of our most requested channels so we are happy to say… it’s here!
American Movie Classics will be available as a free preview until November 30th, 2006 on channels 609 for customers in the East and on channel 629 for customers in the West. After the free preview of AMC has come to an end, American Movie Classics will fit in perfectly as a part of Movies East and Movie West packages at no additional cost.
Star Choice customers get more time shifting opportunities with the addition of History Television West. As the number one source for entertaining and engaging historical programming, History Television captivates Canadian audiences with gripping stories about the people and events that have shaped our world. Star Choice customers already subscribed to History Television will automatically receive History Television West on channel 516.
